Review

This film is overrated and overlong. Its length allows you to fall asleep for an hour and then be alert and then bored again. It has been acclaimed as a masterpiece by the patronising critics who are too busy reading the subtitles to notice that besides the non-English/American setting its only an ok realistic family saga with terrible music and overuse of big glass reflection visuals. The cute and curious little boy made me vomit. I am sick of these mawkish attempts to compromise reality. Why doesn't film have any respect for itself?
