Willie is incoherent at best. Cannot pronounce the foreign names of the horses. And seems to panic everytime he is asked to speak, making one embarrassed for him. Clare Balding is confident and reassuring, and comes from a racing family. The BBCs coverage is too po-faced vis a vis Channel 4s which is more sexy, inluding Mccririck. Racing ( and the Royals who are bred with horses anyway) is the last home of posh people on tv, which is full of the worst common people.
