You're too keen by half. Don't you know the point is to be bored and disappointed for hours on end, and follow this up by fatty and dangerous food. If you got your way it would be like those restaurants recommended by timeout guides filled with nerds. The only reason other cities are easier is because theyre full of foreigners, who by definition are not people who read guide books, and are therefore pleasant and attractive. Go to a Supermarket say Hello.
