Jurassic Park 3 in Cinemas during the Summer of 2001
The New Yorker gave said this was good so I thought I’d go see it. It wasn’t bad though the review was little more stimulating. The dinosaurs chase some people round an island for 89 minutes until the people reach the beach where the US marines pick them up. You go home full of popcorn and wishing there had been more big dinosaurs on show. You neither root for the quite good actors pretending to be people nor for the fake dinosaurs. You’re just always waiting to see some more computer images. They’re not scary either, just a little diverting to look at. No one screamed or laughed or clapped. Maybe no one cares anymore. Maybe we’re extinct. Maybe movies stink.
