Where should you go on to see one of the best collections in the country on a hot summer’s day? Not London, where Tate Modern or the National Gallery will provide you with a view of nothing but someone else's bald patch or armpit (if you're 5 ft 2). But in the National Gallery of Wales, Cardiff, you can see ancient and modern masterpieces in splendid isolation. Best of all are the tiny, intense images of Naples windows - all heat, light and dust - by a Welsh Grand Tourist - a Jones, of course. Check them out - soon.
