Review

Who would make this film? Named after a mythological director's failed pet project, the music is great, the mythology is lame and there's a lot of mugging but hardly any acting. Joel Cohen understands that the power of fhe movies is such that you can get away with things like this, a suspension of disbelief so outlandish it simply can't be countenanced. He probably understands what it takes to make a really classic movie, I wonder if he'll ever try? In the meantime we can fill our time if not our thoughts with this.
