In this original (supposedly) 'Italian' pizza parlour you can have classic american pizzas while admiring some downtown histoy o the walls. So big they are served on a pedestal and you eat in their shadow, fluffy crust (not too thick) and that exciting glaze of oil with tomato and fat and spices lying sweetly and stickily on the cheese. Good salad with an equally rumbustuous and unhealthy dressing too - but even if the pizza does come on a mini altar, they don't deserve the adoration.
