People ask why live in horrible old London? Other cities are prettier, cheaper, funner.
We live here because London is incomplete, it's identity not yet fixed and known. There aren't easy phrases to sum up its character, not bella Roma, exciting New York, snooty Paris.
And so London attracts egotists, people who don't want to reside in a Museum or to be described by the city they live in. Those who dislike uncertainty and change, who cannot cope without labels, hate messy London.
Why London? Because we,the individuals of London, without set character, are here to make something new.
