Figurative sculptures made in a variety of materials. Some are langurous and reclining. There is an inter-connected family hugging eachother. Sensual rythms reach out to the viewer. This comes also from the superior craftmanship of the material. A pragmatic approach to sandstone's elongated form stretches an embracing couple apart. Their pose is made uncertain. A parting image: an alabaster figurine bracing herself. Sylvie Philippe exhibits in Yvelines, outside Paris, and in Normandy.
