How simple the days where when science and phiosophy where about taxonomy - recording, classifyng, and allocating status. Here we have photos of skulls and faces, notes on deformities, imperfections, abnormaities before anyone realised the loading of the word normal, or if they realised it they accepted it as something over which they had power or which had power over them. Good because it makes you think.
