The problem with the internet is overspecialization. Which intelligent person do you know who is only interested in one thing? Magazines like the New Yorker, Spectator, etc cover a wide range of subjects. The problem with worldwidereview is that not enough people write reviews for it, because they don't have time, are scared of being laughed at, don't think they write well enough etc. The other problem is that not enough people read and comment on the reviews because wwr is not really publicized a lot. The solution to both problems is more publicity.
