apart from the bleak angsty B&W stuff you tend to expect from this kind of thing (thanks to (C) RCA and (c) BBC Bristol 1998 (they of whyyyyydon't you? fame)..,most of the animation on show was pretty damn good do-it-yourself home media experimental stuff with lots of funny , quirky personal ideas. I particularly liked Joe Magees work (see www.heartagency.com)....a bit like an animated warhol screenprint...It's great to see artists using cheap digital technology to make stuff thats nice and fresh and interesting and not too dated (at least aesthetically).
