Review

Lots of people with old teddy bear eyes, sketchily painted, brown and green, playing cards red and green-crude, profiles and full faces, shows his talent not yet perfect, but with the power everwhere big and ambitious, live 'til you're 82 and there's no hurry, but if Goya had died at Watteau's age Velazquez would have won.
