One of S's many books that are had to find in English. Not really finished. But the father and son relationship, idealist and cynic, is wittily described. Perhaps not everything needs to be done and dusted. Full of ideas, hero's courting of the shallow social climbing rich beauty is brilliant, father's epigrams cute.
