Review

Reminded me of an adolescent art student's idea of installation art. The old film tape prettily strung across one room, the portentous old man on the big video screen, the junk shop index cards and machines. The walk up the the stairs into light. Every part striving to have meaning and history, ending up looking like stuff bought in the pastimes shop. The chattering classes love this nouveau-kitsch, with its sniff of high culture, because its in town ( by the RA) and they can wheel their prams round it on the nanny's day off.
