My cousin and I returned in hope of rediscovering the happy culinary atmosphere of the week before but we were refused a table according to the terms and conditions as stated in the Times token offer. Maybe we should have brought Jennifer along but she was having lunch with her chaplains. So we nipped next door and a had a £2 Benjy bargain: sandwich, crisps, tea/soft drink/coffee and pudding. Now you're talking. And the staff are friendly to boot. They respect your rights and your lefts. Boom, boom.
