Review

Confused paintings pulled hither and thither by market demands. They have neatly painted figurative surfaces, reminiscent of advanced thrift store art: meritriciously realistic, combined with bits of scawly graffiti. I am sure they speak of some vision of romanticism challenged, ugliness degrading or lifting the landscape's beauty. But their labour undermines the message.
