from nowhere a wadge of money arrives, the old thrill of the gambler getting out of trouble on the last race, the ecstasy of being down then up, the money will be gone as soon as the cheque clears, but ones faith in capricious capitalism is restored. just don't tell any of my friends or i will be forced to buy them a drink again.
