Review

Yes, but the museum being empty also my day, I felt lucky,

And there is a fifties brown, blue, orange in one of the rooms that, I felt, was worth having to see all the rest. The rest of the show should be titled as 'before that painting' and 'after that painting'. Painting history shouldn't, of course, but nobody's saying that.

As for abstract painting, and 'it's over'ism, I think monochrom painting will still be valid as long as people choose the make and colour of their cars. There is a lot of painting to be found in garages.

I like what barbarians like, and also that brown Newmann.
