one: barbecued pork pastry 60p in chinatown, corner charing cross road place with glass window only available certain days. sweet and savoury. good with coke. if unavailable chicken or pork buns good but spongy. two: salt beef bagel brick lane, 1:50, protein and mustard, or go for herring for health which is 50p about. three: chicken tikka in nan kebab and soft drink 2.70 near leytonstone tube, opposite church. causes heartburn but filling four: custard donut or almond pastry, 90p Cann hall road portuguese deli. sugary. with coffee or tea five: mccdonalds special offers, seasonal and vary, but around 2 for big mac and fries is good deal. sic: indian brown sweet, looks like fudge, sweet centre fieldgate street, near whitechapel. 1. extraordinary apotheosis of sugar and texture. surprising conclusion: london a shit place to eat and expensive
