Review

For location it cant be beaten, it has a very pleasant terrace overlooking the whole of the city of Bratislava. As usual though with central European cooking the food is near awful but extremely cheap. You can have a scallop or schasclick or chop of any overcooked meat you want in combination with an absurd fruit or other unsuitable sauce. Nothing seems to go together or taste different. For starters fried cheese, imported from a British frozen food conglomerate, or ham with horseradish. The trick must be to find something on the menu which has preserved its own identity from the flavour of the original ingredients. Impossible. So stop moaning and just enjoy the transluscent sky over the new Europe, not for long will you get two courses plus a beer and coffee for six english pounds.
