Review

When was the last time you had stew? You can't beat it. Brown beef on high heat, remove. Fry onions and carrots until onions golden. Add meat. salt and pepper. Liquid, water, stock, or beer, wine. a bay leaf. Put lid on for at least an hour or more. To thicken add a bit of butter rubbed with flour or flour beef at beginning. add potatoes for an hour as an option. check seasoning. serve with bread or mash.
