We were calmly enjoying an alcoholic beverage outside the ten bells pub (founded 1666) of jack the ripper fame, somehow or other, in between talking about fast cares and fit birds, we dwelled on the subject of contemporay dance and indian dance. Indian dance won the night, though this might have something to do with the quality of the performers. The comtemporary dancer went into a fluid motion of raised hands and arching backs which ended sweetly on a left leg cros in first. The winner however gave a very focussed performance that invloved much geometric reflections of aptly positioned arms and fingers with adjoining stamping of feet. need i say that the alignment was exquisite? Round 2 might bring in elements of capoeira though the performer must
