Midget Piley is an optical painter. That means her paintings make your eyes go funny. They remind me of Mondrian but a lot buzzier. When looking at them I had no thoughts, except those perceiving the effect of her lines or marks. She has spent a long time doing this type of painting, doesn't she get bored sometimes and want to paint a dog or something less boring.
