Review

Very good movie. I only like to see movies I have seen before. This is a sign I am getting vey old. Repeats remind me of the original experience (of lost youth) plus I get some new nuances. Spike Lee makes busy films with New York energy, he's at his best conveying the noise and beauty of a group of people. And the way they chatter and struggle, fall apart and congeal again. Adrian Brody is great as the punk out of sinc with his roots. All the cast are good, and even the cheesey serial killer bits don;t detract, it just provides a point of reference. A film like a coke and a slice (of pizza). Tasty and just what you want.
