Following my debacle with the two youthful street vendors, I met Bruno who works in the poetry cafe on Betterton street. A pair of fold-up Porsche sungalsses from the Transicion era caught his eye on Brick Lane. For many weeks he bargained £15 instead of the £30 asking price. The merchant politely refused. But in the company of his mother, Bruno successfully secured the purple-tinged glasses which he will happily show you. This has given me renewed hope for aquiring the pink t-shirt but how will I remove the muckypuppy stains?
