Review

Like a decent London restaurant but the food is better and half the price. Started with a hemingway cocktail, which was average (one thing not always exportable intact, they always have too many silly variants and not quite right). Then tagliatelle with prawns, that was good and garlicky and the pasta tasted fresh. Next a rare fillet steak with courgettes and provencale potatoes. The steak was good, but not perfect (should have sealed it at a higher heat). But the whole was full of flavour, for once it tasted as good as the list of ingredients. It seemed like the chef cared to make something you want to eat, not the hateful arrogant rubbish thrown in front of you in the English capital. It looked good too. I had a sharp glass of good Slovak wine, purple and good, to wash down the blood. Finished with a pretty chocolate construction and an espresso. Total price for three, )the others had polite salads and a few other things), 40 euros. Bargain, and the location is pleasing under awnings by the one of the centre's gates.
