This second part of three is 600 more pages about the moral destruction of the Soviet Union and the loss and breaking of millions of people. Such a book! My literary immersion in the Gulag reconfigured my brain so that when I began reading Dickens' Hard Times I found the creaky humour laugh out loud funny.A testimony.
