Feast on Dickens' imagination. He is the master storyteller,full of cliffhanger chapter endings. His books are rich with their characterful poor people. The greatest English novelist. Sentimental pedophilic? crazy creator of worlds. Unstoppable, miserable, sadness. Class is everywhere, but he can't bring himself to condemn it in all its horror. he loves too much to be happy. A genius, and a great book, much better than all the films, which just add to its wonderous thick richness.
