Anna Lindh, swedens foreign minister, murdered by a knifeman in a stockholm shopping mall on the eve of their euro referendum.... 10 or so Iraqi police killed in the night by US soldiers. The first is a terrible shocking crime, the second is just another accident of global politics, a price they pay for democracy.
