Anon, the Hampstead Heath swimmer, might want to try the Oasis pool in Covent Garden, the only heated outdoor pool in London,and for under 3 notes. Swimming on a winter evening there is great, you get the black sky above you, steam coming off the water, quite (as there are no walls for sound to bounce off).
