Review

Highly recommended weird melancholy novel by bitter poet. Written from a foreign woman's perspective in crystal language. Moving in its English restraint, makes love seem like a mystery story. The characters and misunderstandings are fine, and the horror of England, in war-time or not, has rarely been better shown. Its the passion held in you see.
