Went into pitch black cinema to see early twentieth century footage spliced together and coloured in monochrome, with brooding paranoid contemporary soundtrack. Miraculously managed not to fall asleep because of frequent white hunter kills rare bear, rhino, or whale scenes. Hypnotic nightmare of colonial world destruction, a little obvious and anachronistic (rhinos weren't so rare then and why did people kill them?, and shooting natives with a camera is not shooting polar bears with a gun, but overall can't complain.
