Ulrich West and Paul Cousins have known each other for many years, brought together by that 'doyenne' of the Liverpool Art scene June Furlong, who continues to organise many successful group shows in and around the Merseyside area and to whom both artists are indebted. Although on the surface, and at first glance their artisitc styles are very different, both share the same obsession for the ever changing elements in nature and for the underlying structures of pattern, shape and space, making paramount use of colour and line accordingly. Both are products of the Liverpool Colleg of Art and have found many of their continuing influences on their own doorstep, here in the Northwest. 26th October - 19th December
