Review

Was full of people awestruck, rooted to the floor, by Mr Viola's religio-technical spectacular passion plays. Fire, and water, rebirth and birth, light and dark. Oh he loves the big motifs of the old superstitions. A brave man tackles such subjects,he risks pomposity and pretentiousness and mock-religiosity. He fails not because the dumb audience laps up his bogusness. Did Michelangelo not camp it up? I hate most of Viola's work. It is however a success for out graphic times.
