Review

Bush had quite good lines written for him to read, slowly and without much rhythm, to the Uamerican audience (no standing ovations). Every time he says a sentence he gives a little smile, symbolising his triumph over those that think he is stupid, the rhetorical brillance of his writers, scorn for all the bullshit he has to say, and relief that he hasn't stumbled over his words.

If only his words were true: if all this were really a battle for freedom. God would truly be blessing us all.
