As you go in you think you'll keep waiting to buy a sandwich/bottle of water/snack/ etc. Fatal mistake. Choice gets more limited /rice goes up as you traverse each ungobackable irreversible boundary, check in/ customs/ boarding area. They know this, as you enter deeper, you grow powerless. at the mercy of three pound fifty sandwiches and very expensive water. And each time you make the same mistake, of waiting, thinking there might be something better. There's not, it just gets worse.
