Who would have thought it? there's something new under the sun/cloudy skies: remember bacon and eggs? It's great but you can make it sublime. Serve it with an accompaniment of pickled cabbage. No I am not joking. Really. The cabbage, or sauerkraut, or whatever variation you like on savoury slightly more or less vinegary cabbage, has alchemic reaction with the fatty breakfast classic. If bacon and eggs could talk it'd say to sauerkraut, "you complete me". Pickled things go very well with meat and cholestrol, they give balance, and to the jaded palate of Fatz, they give new hope of a future full of culinary discovery and reinvention.
