Dr. Phil, I am writing in reguards to the "family". I think that the criticism of others is unnecessary. No, it is not good for a 15 year old to have a baby, but is is not their choice. I know where Alex is coming from. I will be 18 in March, and I have lived on my own, with the support of my fiencee of 6 years every since I was barely 16 years old. I am still in school, and graduate in May. It is not easy to take care of a home. We do not have children yet, that I am thankful for. I just think that for a 15 year old mother, she at least is headed in the right direction. Some people do have to think that you at least have to be 16 to get a job. I do feel sorry for this family, but there are others that have it worse. I am one of those. Some people do not have have their parents. I did not even have the choise. They are fortunate, in the way that even if their parents do divorce, they will still be able to have contact with them. I have not seen my mother in almost 2 years, and have not talked to her in about 10 or 11 months. I was extreamly lucky to recieve a Christmas card from her.
