I have lived in two self contained flats with my girlfriend over the past year an a half now. I must say I have problems with noise from other residents in the house. I personally believe that some people have no awareness of others - their continuing distruption, talking loud late in the night, having too many friends round, doing stupid things, guests have no awareness what so ever and they should leave at 12 midnight full stop! (when work in the week is a grind and you only want to sleep!)I mean who wants to stay up until 5am into the morning - what a waste of a time, can't people have sleeping patterns that are sensible?
I think a house is order so I can sleep when I want to. £££££££££££££££££££££££££££
