No, It's just back ground music for easy listening, you don't have to get involved. Simple Pop, she's not like the Cheeky Girls or Beyoncee or any of those kind D acts. Certainly polar opposites to say PJ Harvey or Alanis Morrisette. Dido is just Dido but she could be classed with The Lighthouse Family and yes M-People.
