Review

The Atkin's diet is the latest craze to hit the world in the fashion of slimming. It has been getting a great deal of coverage from the British press - postive and negative. I tried it about two years ago for two weeks in the summer. I lost about a stone, due to eating only frying steak and salad. I did include whole grain bread at lunch with protein. The key is protein, eat tones of protein, red meat, fish and cut out the carbs, chips, crisps, white bread etc...make sure you take multi vitamins and don't consume as much fat as they say in the book. Fat cloggs up the arteries and is harder to burn off when stored in the body.

It's a quick answer but don't do it longer than two weeks.
