When all the chattering classes are complaining about him: He must be doing something right. Like a flock of birds they squawk: He's taking away our free universities. They were perfectly content before to pay for private schools, and nannies, and kindergratens, and books in their houses, and museum visits, to get their precious ones into the best varsities. Now they will have to subsidise the lumpen plebs, they are not laughing anymore.
Blair is a clever, talented, survivor. And the worst thing we could all do is give over power to the Labour party plotters. I know them, they have no relationship to reality, its only who they can knife in the back next that gets their juices going, it would not be a pretty sight if these dark creatures ruled the country. And it would lead inveitably to Mr Michael Howard as our future primeminister.
