Jerry " con air to CSI" Bruckheimer produced functional police drama. Someone goes missing, the police look for them. Spade faced Anthony "murder one" la paglia is the boss of the sexy young team of investigators.
The show keeps our attention because we want to find out if the vanished will end the hour as a corpse or with heart still beating. Heads or tails. Dead or alive. And they throw in an obvious suspect, who may or may not be the abductor/killer, to give us a second binary.
