Review

I too watched the Oscars but did not acquire the same information as this reviewer, perhaps we were watching different channels. I did notice the sameness of the actresses' dresses and the actors' dinner jackets. Robin Williams offered some relief with his tails and French accent. Billy Crystal brought some classic entertainment in the form of showsongs. However as far as dress is concerned I much prefer what you see in the Brits awards or MTV awards. They're just so much more original and varied. However I still thank the Oscars for the solidarity they profer in the face of death by running through the highlights of Bob Hope and Katherine Hepburn. Our demise can appear surmountable with their support.
