Review

At last! I'm actually able to correlate my review with one of the review categories. Is there anyone else out there who finds that the review categories are too limiting for the broad scope of our articles? I would sooner choose 'life'! In staunch boyfriendly tradition, I invited my girlfriend to see Peter Pan with me at the local 'arthouse' cinema which is in fact a converted medieval church still replete with original timber beams. A strangely comforting ancient aroma exudes from the upholstery adding to an unmissable atmosphere. Chioma, my girlfriend, made some remarks about seeing 'Along came Polly' but I was set on viewing this worthwhile piece of literary tradition. Films with names in them irk me unless I'm acquainted with the name in question. After all, do you go along to parties that you're not invited to? Well, actually.. I found the film magical, all the flying in the air, the whizzing fairy and the general stand against reality. It reminded me of the reading material I mastered with my two tutees Mahalia and Oscar last academic year. The interiors fitted the descriptions, both the house in London and NeverNeverland. So much so that I fell asleep and sought to join them in my dreams. My datee was not of the same opinion. She felt that the actor playing Peter Pan was unconvincing and fretful. Still, I look at the stars in a different manner.
