The Rubells are richies with such a big great collection that they have their own Miami Museum. They like painting, and this book is full of nice things you might not have seen before by artists you have. What's a collector? Usually just a stupid patronizing rich person who thinks they know about art. Soemtimes they get lucky with their genes, and have the good taste to buy mostly good stuff, or they meet someone who knows something and helps them make good decisions. Thus they become a great collector. Even if they only buy a lot of mediocre work from major galleries, they will still be considered important, as there are not many collectors and everyone in art is forced to like them and be nice to them and say they are good.
Don Rubell ( of the Rubell family collection)inherited his money from Steve Rubell of studio 54 fame.
