After having made my eatery purchases at Morrison's, I took refuge from the surprise rain under the roof of the modern-day cloisters surrounding the shop. I followed the path round to Matalan, where I have narrowly avoided many a bargain in the past. This day, I got as far as the cash till with my prize, a black zip-up top. Then I discovered that I could only buy Matalan's products if I join their junk-mail club(which I already seem to be a member of) and accept their bland card. I acquiesced in the weakness of my acquisitive lust. Then it turned out that my item of clothing had been mistakedly reduced. So I did the honourable thing, and departed into the rain, too late for lunch but early enough for physics, minus a black top and fawny card.
