on the other hand, agreeing with the previous review of your review on loking again at guernica, I want to tell you to look back at modernism, at the begiinnings of it, so you will not anymore put over a century of art in one bag, plus you would stop calling it shit. art about life is what the high modernity did, really influencing how society could live better in the future. this ideas and power was later manipulated to make money, but that was the mistake, not the initial ideas. as for the rest, we are in posmodernity for the kind of art you mention, since at least Warhol, so, mid fifties. In the north you tend to speak of modernity with an awfull lightness. In the south, modernity is still waiting to happen. And it will be a good thing.
