Lara (whose skills had waned and talent expired according to the press) bats on after lunch, 3-0 down in the series, closing in on 400, yes it doesn't help his team's chances to win a dead test, yes it will make him the first man to reach 400, surely the West Indies will benefit and be proud of that: The Talk sport commentators, trees for wood, keep complaining in stark language of his selfishness, barely aware the audience believes in great deeds, and is not interested in the resentment and politics of old forgotten pros, its not always about the 11 men on the field, sometimes its about history and glory. Lara may be a small man but he has a big record.
